I spent 6 months in Singapore at the end of 2009 into 2010.
We must have eaten here at least 15 times in that 6 months.
The food is some of the best in SG!

Hi, you may already know this by now, but the “pineapple” kimchi you mentioned is actually called “achar” and is a kind of indian pickle dish.
You’ll commonly find it in indian or malay food stalls.

I too stumbled upon Lan Zhou La Mian and am now a regular. Those steamed dumplings are to die for, as an expat with frequent visitors in tow this place is a must for Singapore eating experience
